National Building Code of India (Preliminary draft)
The Building Code covers development control rules, including sub-division and layout rules, land use classifications, open spaces, area and height limitations, means of access, and parking spaces. This part also includes general building requirements, such as provision of lifts, etc.
One of the significant inclusions in this draft revision is that of the terminology of access Development Control Rules now give guidance on access with reference to planning layouts.
