Question: I use a wheelchair, and I find it difficult to use the pavements. Are there any specifications for accessible pavements?

Answer: Yes, there are specifications. The pavement should be dropped to be flush with the road, and should be at a gradient no greater than 1:12 on both sides of a convenient crossing. In addition:
