International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2017

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2017, we organized The NCPEDP-AIF-Petroleum Walk To Freedom on 3rd December at India Gate celebrating the 1st year anniversary of the landmark Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act, 2016 by launching a nationwide Campaign on this day around the theme, ‘Celebrating Inclusion’ to spread awareness & to ensure the proper implementation of the provisions of the RPWD Act 2016. The event was sponsored by ONGC and co-organized by the American India Foundation (AIF) in partnership with Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), MSJE, United Nations India, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and National Association of the Deaf (NAD). International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2016

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2016, we organized two events. The NCPEDP-AIF Walk To Freedom on 3rd December at India Gate and the Seminar on Disability Inclusion across 17 Sustainable Development Goals on 9th December at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Both events were co-organized by the American India Foundation (AIF) in partnership with National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and United Nations, India. Global Leadership Training - International Seminar on Disability and Development

NCPEDP co-organized the Global Leadership Training - International Seminar on Disability and Development along with Disabled Peoples’ International (DPI) and in partnership with United Nations India, G3ict and BarrierBreak. International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2015 (Equality+20 Campaign)

Commemorating 20 years of the Disability Act 1995, NCPEDP celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2015 under the Equality+20 Campaign which included the ‘Signs of the Times’ Logo Competition, publication of a book titled, ‘20 Stories of Change’, the Equality+20 Conference and The Walk To Freedom. The principal sponsor of the campaign was Mindtree. The Conference was co-organized by NCPEDP and American India Foundation (AIF) on 1st & 2nd December, 2015 and The NCPEDP-VEER Walk To Freedom was co-organized by NCPEDP, VEER and the National Association of the Deaf at India Gate on 3rd December, 2015.
